As a lifelong movement enthusiast, Pilates resonated with me from the very first class I took. It made sense in my body. For years, I was running, riding, swimming and doing various strength training exercises and getting injured all the time.
Pilates helped me resolve those injuries and maintain the needed functional stability to continue doing everything I love. I've been a teacher for decades, first as a music teacher, running my own piano studio and then transitioning to Pilates teacher. I love teaching people movement that will keep them functional and mobile the rest of their lives.

I grew up in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco Mexico. Twenty-three years ago, I went to my first Pilates class with my best friend, and we both fell in love with Pilates. My body had never felt so good! I knew that Pilates was going to be part of my life! During Covid, my husband said maybe it is time to do what makes you happy! I started my teacher training and loved it! I have been teaching for 3 years and it has been incredible, working with amazing women and men, challenging them and seeing them getting stronger and confident! I am so excited to work at Aya Pilates and to get to know you!

After many years as an esthetician, I struggled with poor posture and the body aches that came from spending long hours in one position. That’s when I discovered Pilates. Through consistent practice, I not only improved my posture but also deepened my connection with my breath, restored balance in my body, and enhanced my overall well-being from the inside out.
When your posture is properly aligned, movement feels lighter, easier, and more effortless—and more importantly, your mind becomes clearer and more vibrant. I’m passionate about sharing this transformative experience with my clients, offering thoughtful support to help each person enjoy the journey of strengthening both body and mind. I look forward to growing together, learning from one another, and making this journey both rewarding and fun!

Scott has always been interested in movement since before he can remember. He loved to run and play. He participated in sports throughout his youth. Baseball, football, hockey, lacrosse , boxing, martial arts, even rowing was on the menu. Scott found dance late in life at 18 and spent a long time seeking his fortune and fame. Report, no fortune or fame but a lifelong fascination with bodies in motion and how movement heals. Scott is also a massage practitioner of over 25 years. Pilates brought a major tool to his practice that nothing else could do, that is, work from the inside out to create strength, balance, and stability to the body. As a Pilates instructor for over 20 years, he is still amazed at what Pilates can do and the depth of purpose it holds for the beginner and the most advanced of practitioners.
